This year our Modern dances are being taught by Larissa Sun ’19 (Syndicate) and Chris Banaga ’15 (The Company).

The Modern suite allows for an infusion of contemporary Filipino-American culture into the production. Modern dance is a now a popular form of artistic expression that many Filipinos have gotten involved with and we want to showcase how our unique culture has evolved. Current SCU students and Alum use the Modern suite as a way for them to make their own contribution to the production and to the culture. Songs and dance styles are subject to the choreographer.
