Trent Kelsall (Designer)

BIO: I (Trent) am typically a shy and sorta awkward guy. I try my best to have regular conversations with people, and for the most part it works. Sometimes, though you may see me unsure of how to greet someone, or something like that. So, why am I, this shy and awkward person, some guy who’s in publicity? Well, the answer, in short, is I love design. Internally, while it’s sometimes hard for me to tell people things directly, I don’t mind spreading the word via something not verbal: art… design… graphics that get people interested.

Mikaela Ley (Social Media)

BIO: I’m Mikaela Ley, a Senior double majoring in Biology and Public Health. I was born and raised in Manila but decided to come abroad for college. I’ve been a part of Barkada/PCN since I was a freshman – I served as outreach coordinator during my sophomore year, and was on costumes last year. I’m too indecisive to have any favorites but I have an unhealthy obsession with my niece (my entire family for that matter), ice cream, and mindless YouTube videos.

Patricia Ta (Blogger)

BIO: Patricia is a fourth year Finance major from Milpitas, California. In her free time, she loves spending time with her dog, her friends, and binging TV / YouTube. If she’s not doing any of those things she’s probably trying to go through and edit the mass amount of backlogged photos on her phone since she #lateposts everything. Last year was her first PCN as a transfer student and she is excited to have a bigger role in PCN this year as part of Publicity!

Chris Layco (Videographer)

BIO: Whatisup! My name is Chris Layco, and I am one of the videographers for PCN. I come from Vallejo, CA, a place thriving with Filipino culture. I have a passion for the arts– specifically music and videography. I am proud to be able to show off my culture through my art, performing in PCN, and being involved in Barkada.

Matt Ordona (Videographer)

BIO: Matt Ordoña is a senior majoring in Communication (film emphasis) and minoring in Political Science. He is the videographer for PCN, and loves taking photos and creating films 🙂 You can catch him playing basketball, eating, relaxing in the MCC, and is also involved with professional service fraternity ΑΦΩ.

Ian Cho (Photographer)

BIO: Ian Cho is a fourth year Computer Science major from San Jose, CA. He is one of the photographers on P-Staff and historian for Barkada. This is Ian’s third PCN and second year on P-Staff. As busy as Ian gets, he always tries to find time to do things he enjoys including but not limited to working out, eating, staying home, and getting lost on the Internet. He’s always down to having deep conversations with anyone along with discussing ways to be creative while behind the camera. Barkada and PCN has allowed Ian to explore another culture other than his own while simultaneously be able to give back.  

Michael Bose (Photographer)

BIO: I’m Michael Bose, a sophomore electrical engineering major from San Jose. Sometimes I’ll be playing bullet chess or card games like egyptian war (I always carry a deck of cards on me). I’m usually in the library and procrastinating so feel free to stop by and say hi!
