Brent Baculi

BIO: Hello! My name is Brent Baculi, and I am a senior, bioengineering student at SCU. I am one of the main writers of this year’s skit. Creative writing has been a hobby of mine since I started writing poetry in elementary school, but playwriting is something out of left field for me. I learned a lot of playwriting skills from Marissa when we wrote last year’s skit together which helped me tremendously as I was writing this year’s skit. Not gonna lie, writing an entire thematic play was pretty challenging, but overall, I had a lot of fun doing it! I hope you enjoy my portrayal of Filipino culture, and I hope you fall in love with the skit as much as I did 🙂

Janine Bautista

BIO: Janine Marie Bautista is a fourth year Marketing major and is beyond excited to be (1/3) of the PCN Directors of 2020! This will be her fourth and final PCN, and while she has had a great time dancing in the past, she is super excited (so much excitement) to be acting in skit and performing Tinikling for the first time! She holds PCN very near and dear to her heart and she hopes that you can find the same passion for the culture in the show. In her free time, you can find her playing basketball, singing karaoke, or eating dumplings. Special shoutout to her Barkada fam, (6 generations, baby) and for everyone who has made this show possible!
